Ok, now with Texnessa on cowbell and PalmTreePalmTree providing hand rhythm (claps), this is going to be bigger than “We Are The World.”
It’s on.
OK. This is going to happen. Here’s how I see this going down. Mark & I can handle the music, Tumblr will provide the vocals and hand claps. Anybody that would like to be a part of the great “Tumblr Goes to Band Camp” extravaganza should grab their microphone and record a few things for us (Video won’t work for this. We need audio only):
- 5 words: Any 5. Be creative.
- Hand Claps: Clap 4 times. We’ll take care of the rest. Try and clap at 120bpm. If you don’t know what I just said, just clap slowly and we’ll cut and paste until you sound like a boss.
- Fuck You! Record your self shouting “Fuck you”
Record these as 3 separate audio clips. MP3 is the format of choice, but we can make it work. Then put all 3 of your audio clips into a ZIP folder and throw them up on dropbox or another file sharing site of your choice and place send a copy of the download link in The Really Good Ask Hole. The band will take care of the rest! Tell your friends!
